What is the Collaboratory?Formerly the Lower School computer lab, the Falcon Collaboratory is a space with loads of flexibility. It functions as a classroom where students interact with technology and each other via iPads with open-ended, creative apps that stretch student learning. A LEGO wall offers opportunities for students to imagine and build with LEGOs to solve a posted challenge. And there's even a green screen that can be lowered so students can create audio/visual projects. It also serves as a meeting space for both faculty and student groups as well as Tinker Tuesdays and Thursdays, Too!

STEM/STEAM ActivitiesMany of the activities that are done in the Collaboratory are focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Whether it's using computer science apps to learn to think like a programmer, learning to make and control various robots, or building with Magformers, Keva Planks, LEGOs and more, students learn the importance of teamwork and perseverance.
